StarLight Centre is a development center supporting children with disabilities who live in single-parent families.
We provide free professional development programs, individual and group therapies, and a supportive community for parents.
Our goal is simple:
to strengthen both the children’s development and the parents’ ability to support them — with care, understanding and hope.
🧩 Our Programs
Child Development & Therapy
- Individual and group sessions for children aged 0–16
- Complex special education and movement therapy
- Complementary developmental and therapeutic activities
- Up to six months of professional support
Parental Support & Guidance
- Psychological and mental health counseling
- Parenting workshops
- Guidance on kindergarten and school choices
- Advice on social and community services
Community & Family Life
- Creative workshops and holiday events
- Family picnics and excursions
- Parent clubs and discussion groups
- Building shared traditions and new friendships
🕊️ All programs are free of charge
A refundable registration fee ensures commitment and is returned at the end of the program.

📝 How to Join
- Fill out the application form and send it to

Include expert or medical reports and a valid Single Parent Card. - Our professional team reviews all applications.
- Introductory session — we meet your child and observe their strengths and needs through play.
- Admission and registration fee:
10,000 HUF for six months (refunded at the end of the program). - Individual Development Plan (IDP)
Created together with parents — defining goals, duration, and cooperation details. - Program length: 25 weeks
- 20 developmental sessions
- 2 parental consultations
- 3 weeks of break
- Final consultation and feedback to support the next step in your child’s journey.
Registration fees are refunded within 30 days after completion (if attendance requirements are met).
🕒 Weekly Schedule
Monday–Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Individual and group development sessions
Weekly sessions: 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
