CsillagPont – Development Center for Single-Parent Families
We believe that every child is a star who deserves to live in an accepting and inclusive community, where differences are valued — because every star is unique, yet all shine just as brightly.
ABOUT US
CsillagPont is a development center offering free individual and group special education sessions for children with disabilities living in single-parent families. We also provide support and a sense of community for their parents.
OUR PROGRAMS
Individual and Group Development Sessions
For children aged 0–16, for a maximum of 6 months. Complex special education development and counselling, movement development, and complementary therapies.
Counselling and Parental Support
Mental health support and psychological consultations, baby–mother group sessions, kindergarten and school selection counselling, and guidance on various social issues.
Community Programs
Creative workshops around holidays, building shared traditions, excursions, family picnics, parent clubs, and discussion groups.
All our services and programs are free of charge, but require a registration fee, which is refunded to families at the end of the development period.

APPLICATION PROCESS
- Fill out and submit the application form. Additionally, send the expert opinion from the local Pedagogical Service, or the report from a complex assessment center, as well as any other medical documentation, to csillagpont@egyszulo.hu, along with a valid Single Parent Card.
- Professional review of the submitted documents.
- First session with the appropriate specialist, during which the child’s current condition and abilities are observed through play, with special attention to strengths as well as emerging needs.
- Decision regarding the application.
- Payment of the registration fee (10,000 HUF for six months).

- During a consultation with the parent, specialists and the parent jointly outline the Individual Development Plan (IDP), which includes:
- duration of cooperation
- recommended development
- assigned specialist
- conditions and rules of cooperation
- Both parties sign the cooperation agreement, valid for a total of 25 weeks:
- 20 sessions of individual or group development
- 2 parental consultations
- 3 breaks
- The specialist prepares the personalized development plan.
- Development sessions begin: once a week, 45 minutes each, for a total of 20 sessions.
- The development period concludes with a parental consultation. Parents receive ongoing support regarding next steps, ensuring a smooth transition.
- The registration fee is refunded within 30 days after the completion of the development period, provided that absences do not exceed three out of the twenty sessions.

OUR MISSION
The mission of CsillagPont is to support the development of children with disabilities living in single-parent families in a loving and accepting environment, while strengthening the resilience, role, and unity of their families. Our institution pays special attention to empowering parents; in addition to individual counselling, we offer community programs to ease everyday challenges. Single parents raising a child with disabilities carry a burden alone that would be a tremendous challenge even for two parents. We are committed to acceptance, development, and equal opportunities. Our center operates based on the detailed Pedagogical Program of CsillagPont.
