Single Parent' Families' Foundation

 


In Hungary a parent is absent in some 300,000 families, while these families are bringing up more than half a million children. The Single Parent Families’ Foundation has been helping single parent families since 2005.

​

It assists the daily life of families with free services, such as legal consulting, psychological assistance and organisation of camps for children.

It supports their equal opportunities in relation to employment, business and society with target projects.

It supports families in need with donations.

It promotes international relations, gathers and shares good practices.

It conducts surveys to learn more about family situations.

It supports setting up and boosting single parent families with community developing projects.

It is building a national network with the participation of affected families.

It represents single parent families in society as a whole.

 

The Foundation has set up Hungary’s first Single Parent Center, which opened in May 2018. This is an outstanding social innovation, not only nationally but also internationally.
